Fine whites & sweet delights
Event run by Peter Richards MW and Susie Barrie MW
Following on from the sell-out success of our first ‘Seasonal Specials’ event (Fizz & Fine Red Wine in March 2012), we’re delighted to announce details for our autumn version: Fine Whites & sweet delights.
We will be serving eight fine wines throughout the course of the evening, including top-notch white wine (in various guises) and sumptuous sweet wines.
The idea with the Seasonal Specials is to have one focus tasting each spring and autumn, always with the same theme or title, but featuring different wines every time. So if you’ve done our Back to Basics, or are just after something delicious and intriguing, you can simply keep coming back to these events.
They also make great presents if you’re thinking of buying someone special a wine tasting.
What’s included
- A delicious aperitif to start the evening off in a fun and relaxed way
- Seven more superb wines to savour (details to follow)
- Your very own Master(s) of Wine for the evening, to quiz at your will
- Fun taste experiments and factoids to add spice to the occasion
- The odd tasting game – no pressure, just fun
- Tasting sheets, pencils, glasses, spittoons…and water!
