About the club
We’re often asked for advice on how to buy good wine. Usually by people who want to drink decent wine but are frequently left bewildered, frustrated or just disappointed with the choice out there.
We’ve set up our Wine Club to help you drink better wine while saving you time and money. If this tickles your taste buds, then please read on or sign up.
What’s involved?
We’ve hooked up with some of the UK’s best wine retailers to offer you exclusive discounts on cases of wine personally selected by us.
An offer will go out every other month with details on the six wines plus helpful little nuggets like our food matching tips.
All of the wines will have been hand selected by us with you in mind. You get the peace of mind of having your wine chosen for you by two Masters of Wine who enjoy the same wines at home, plus the excitement of making new and delicious discoveries.
Members receive a special code with which they then contact the retailer. All subsequent dealings are between you and retailer – keeping it simple and easy for all concerned. All cases are delivered direct to your door by some of the nation’s most trusted and efficient wine sellers.
There’s no obligation to buy any case. But of course the more cases you buy, the more exclusive discounts you benefit from.
Any other benefits?
All subscribers qualify for special discounts on selected events – we’ll publicise these accordingly. You also get exclusive pre-release notice of our upcoming events.
Members can also take advantage of a range of subscriber discounts we’ve negotiated with retailers of interest to all good gastronomes (eg books, aroma bottles, glasses, artisan chocolate, hotels etc).
Our monthly newsletter will pop into your inbox with tasty titbits including delicious seasonal recipes plus our picks of the best discount wine deals on the high street (so no more false economies).
How much does it cost?
Nothing.
For a trial period, we’re going to run the club for free. There’ll be no charge whatsoever for signing up and being a member.
The work and administration involved in running the club means we will have to charge eventually. But the idea is that you will more or less earn the value of your subscription back in the discounts we secure you on the wines.
Of course, before anything happens we’ll be sure to give you plenty of notice to explain what we’re doing.
