NEW COURSE DATES!

We are extremely excited to announce our brand new course dates for the Autumn/Winter 2010 season. (See below for a trailer, or click on ‘The Wine School’ on the top menu, then ‘Courses’ for more details.)

The courses include a celebration of champagne, sumptuous wine-and-food matching, an evening for the girls – and of course our firm favourites, the Back to Basics series.

We’ve been plotting these ever since our spring courses finished a few weeks ago. We’ve had loads of fantastic feedback, and some of these courses are in response to popular demand, so we can’t wait to get started and see lots of you there for more fun and wine-related frolics.

One change you’ll notice is that the courses start slightly later than before (in response to mums saying it was difficult to get out for a 6.30pm start). We hope this helps!

The Hotel du Vin, whose Balfour Room makes for such a splendid venue, has also kindly offered all WWS course participants money off drinks and dinner. So a great excuse to make a night of it!

Back to Basics Plus – Sunday 26th September 2010, 7-8:30pm, Hotel du Vin, Winchester. For those who know a bit and want to know more. Great fun too.

An Evening for the Girls – Monday 4th October 2010, 7-8:30pm, Hotel du Vin, Winchester. Ladies only – easy now.

A Celebration of Champagne – Sunday 17th October 2010, 7-8:30pm, Hotel du Vin, Winchester. By popular demand.

Food and Wine Matching Lunch – Saturday 13th November 2010, from 11:30am, The Chesil Rectory, Winchester. A feast for the senses.

Back to Basics Christmas Special – Weds 24th November 2010, 7:30-9pm, The Wintonian Room, Winchester Guildhall. The usual fun, games + factoids.
