We host specialist wine events, from chairing seminars, masterclasses and tastings to tutoring Master of Wine students. We’ve run a wine school and education is a big part of what we do. We also work as judges – Peter chairs at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the Decanter Retailer Awards, Susie has chaired the GB Wine Awards and at the International Wine Challenge. From 2012 to 2015 we both hosted and judged The Palate, an annual nationwide search for the UK’s best amateur wine taster (which latterly attracted over 20,000 entrants), and from 2011 to 2013 we set up, hosted and chaired the What Food What Wine awards. Other things we’ve judged include the André Simon Awards, Argentine Wine Awards, Louis Roederer International Writing Awards, Annual Wines of Chile Awards and Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards.
