Cox memorial

A brief note to publicise the upcoming memorial service for Michael Cox, which will take place at Southwark Cathedral (SE1 9DA) on Thursday 10th April at 3.30pm.

Michael, who died last week, was a highly respected and much loved member of the wine trade and former Master Vintner. (You can read Peter’s tribute to Michael via this link.) The service is expected to be very well attended.

The plan is for a glass of wine locally after the service (details to be confirmed). Apparently there’s another service on at the cathedral before so best not to arrive before 3pm.
