A superb bottle of Chenin Blanc from a little-known region in a terrific recent vintage. If you’re looking for something impressive to grace your dinner table the next time you slow cook a slab of belly pork or serve up a luxury fish pie, this has to be it. Deeply coloured and with bags of waxy, red apple and roasted nut flavour, it’s dry but rich and intensely flavoured, beautifully balanced and absolutely worth the £20+ price tag.
