To celebrate topping one million unique downloads with Wine Blast, we wanted to say thank you to the people who’ve made it all possible: our lovely listeners.
We’ve put together a fantastic giveaway, with prizes totalling into four figures, thanks to some very generous donations. So how do you fancy winning one of the following?
Five bottles of grower champagne (worth c. €300) together with a further €100 voucher to top up the case, courtesy of iDealwine (approx €400)
Bespoke Academie du Vin Library book bundle including a signed copy of Hugh Johnson’s The Story of Wine (worth £270)
A year’s subscription to Decanter magazine plus Premium online (worth £183), together with two VIP (Grand Tasting) tickets to either the London Fine Wine Encounter (7th Nov 2026, worth £310) or the New York Fine Wine Encounter (6th June 2024, worth $450)
How to Enter
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is tell us which is your favourite Wine Blast episode and why. (Here’s our back catalogue.)
Alternatively, tell us what wine topic we should cover and why. Sell it to us!
What we consider to be the best entries will go into a hat and winners will be chosen at random.
Doesn’t need to be fancy or glamorous. The more spontaneous the better, frankly.
We may feature the best entries in a show where we announce the results.
Entries
Entry deadline is midnight on Saturday 31st January 2026.
Entries should ideally be in the form of an audio clip or video (portrait format). MAXIMUM 60 seconds (nearer 30 would be better).
You can send us an audio message via Speakpipe (as below).
As a very last resort, you can email Rosie. But please don’t send large files that way.

What we need from you
We will need your email address, so we can reach you if you do win.
And we’ll also need your postcode (or postal address) to get the prize to you.
We’ll be sure to delete these details once the competition is over.
GOOD LUCK!
More thanks
Of course, we need to show our appreciation to more than just our wonderful global community of Wine Blast listeners.
We’d also like to thank:
Our interviewees, sometimes stellar, always interesting, who give their time willingly
The many producers and wine trade companies who have kindly sent in samples for us to taste, with never any guarantee of being featured on the show
The sponsors, both episodic and headline, who have enabled Wine Blast to survive financially over the years
Our fabulous Wine Blast PLUS subscribers, who are supporting the show at a grass-roots level and enabling it to head into an exciting new era
The many PR companies and employees who believe in the show, sell it to their clients, and do brilliant but often un-credited work behind the scenes to make the magic happen
Those precious people who helped get Wine Blast off the ground right at the very start five years ago, when things were touch and go. You know who you are.

If for some reason a prize winner is selected but the prize is not able to be delivered to their address for any reason (eg distribution issues or geographical restrictions) then alternative solutions will be sought. Failing that, the prize winner must forgo their prize.
Susie and Peter or Wine Blast or their representatives accept no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries.

The inspiration for this year’s limited-edition Coravin Hermitage Red colour is, ‘a real life-changing moment’ for founder and inventor Greg Lambrecht.
During a visit to the Rhône Valley, armed with an early prototype of what would become Coravin Timeless, Greg was able to taste a 1985 Hermitage from one of only a few bottles remaining at the winery. ‘This wine had the most beautiful and complex flavour of anything I’d ever experienced,’ says Greg, acknowledging this as a significant moment in showing him (and the winemaker!) that Coravin would certainly have its place in the world of wine.
